Instructions

1. install wine in linux
2. download the setup file from tally website
3. right click the file and → chose open with → wine windows program loader
4. the setup will run
5. chose the default installation folder and for tally data location leave it default

1. mount the windows share in linux either by command or in file manager
2. copy the location path
3. run “winecfg”
4. select drives tab
5. add drive and change the desired drive letter
6. in the path paste or type the path of the shared tally data in linux

there should be a shortcut for the program in linux or create one .desktop file or just simply a- go to terminal and go the wine folder which will be in the home folder “.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Tally/Tally.ERP9/” now in this folder type “wine start tally”
